London Calling 2007 - The Future Of Music Business

The music business stands at a crossroads as technological convergence and radically-evolving consumer trends present challenges and opportunities in equal measure. Never before has information been so essential in drafting a roadmap for the future.

So, where can you turn to for the answers and insights that are essential to push the industry onto the next level? Step forward, London Calling 2007, in partnership with Five Eight and FRUKT, the leading music strategy and communications agency. Held in Earls Court on 28th-29th June, London Calling is the UK's biggest music event, bringing together the architects of the future to debate how and where we can turn next as well as, crucially, why.

Labels, publishers, marketers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, technology companies and service providers will all meet to outline their visions of what the industry can and should become. They also explain how - hand-in-hand - we can all arrive there safely. And successfully.

Confirmed speakers include John Kennedy (IFPI), Tim Westergren (Pandora), Tony Wadsworth (EMI), David Fischer (MySpace) and Vijay Lazarus (Indian Music Industry); key sponsors include Ericsson and legal firm Lewis Silkin. Other big-name participants and sponsors will be announced shortly.
